Mission Statement

The mission of the Fallsburg Library is to provide materials and services for community residents of all ages for personal enrichment, enjoyment, and educational needs. The educational needs of elementary and secondary students will be supported and programs developed to stimulate children’s interests and appreciation for reading and learning. Come in and see how we’ve grown!

Library History

The Fallsburg Reading Center was opened in 1991. The Fallsburg Library was officially chartered as a library by the State of New York in December of 2000.

As Summer Reading comes to a close, I just want to say thank you to everyone who participated this summer! 📚☀️💛

It was such a joy seeing our library community come together to read, learn, create, and have fun. Whether you joined us for a program, picked up a book, completed reading challenges, or simply stopped by the library!

This was truly one to remember! 🦖📖✨ I’m so grateful for every family, child, teen, and adult who participated. I hope you all had as much fun as I did!
